Company Profile

Red River Biodiesel, Ltd. (“RRB”), is a developer of biofuel technology and manufacturer of ASTM 6751 biodiesel utilizing multi-feedstock operations.  The process technology employed allows RRB to make ASTM biodiesel from any single seed oil or animal fat or any combination of these ingredients.  The process also significantly minimizes waste effluent from manufacture and recycles raw materials and by-products such as methanol, glycerin and water to achieve cost reductions.

RRB concentrates on providing the highest quality biodiesel product at the lowest delivered cost.  In order to achieve this, RRB utilizes technologies which use lower cost animal fats as feedstock and recycle/recover process constituents for a lower cost delivered product.  Locations which afford RRB the opportunity to purchase raw materials, such as stabilized poultry fat and other animal fats, within a short truck or rail haul and which are close to major metropolitan areas or large industrial customers for mandated consumption of biodiesel are targeted.  These considerations drove RRB’s decision to build a 15,000,000 gallon per year multi-feedstock biodiesel plant in New Boston, Texas, which has been operational since June, 2008.

Management

RRB is managed and operated by a group of energy and petrochemical professionals with over 60 years of combined energy, both renewable and traditional, and chemical production experience.  It’s management has a proven track record of successfully operating processing / manufacturing facilities, such as those in the biofuels, oil and gas, nuclear, chemical and power generation sectors.
